Kayla Newell is a mixed media artist and tattooer in Portland, Oregon. She has a background in fine arts and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Art History from Portland State University in 2011. Since then she has been exhibiting her visual work in galleries and spaces around the Northwest. In November of 2016 she began tattooing professionally. By February of 2018 she and business partner Prudence Haze opened a private appointment only studio in SE Industrial Portland where they still currently work together.
